The Journey to Goodbye: Part 3 May 10, 2018
Written by: Mandi Browning
Mabel loves to help me work. Today I had to call a few clients for grief support and she sat on my lap the entire time. It is moments like this that I will miss when she is gone.
I know that it is important to stay positive for her and to not only worry about her disease progressing, but it is hard sometimes.
It is especially hard with her because she is my only animal companion. She helped me through the death of my cousin, many friends, my grandfather, my other kitty Goku and my baby.
She has been there for me when no one else has. I cannot help but worry about how I will get through her death.
But today is a good day. She is sitting next to me, in the sun, feeling good. Today I will enjoy her company and make sure she knows how much I love her.
