Pet Cremation Options

During your scheduled euthanasia appointment, our veterinarian will walk you through the cremation options and payment for the crematory services. We work with and trust Rainbow Bridge Pet Memorial Center and Guardian Pet Aquamation for body care and cremation services. Our team will provide transportation to the cremation location, removing that burden off of your shoulders during this difficult time.

Rainbow Bridge Memorial Center Cremation Options:

Private Cremation

Your pet is cremated as the only pet in the crematorium which allows the return your pet’s ashes.

Communal Cremation

Your pet is placed with a number of other pets. In this case we will not be able to return your pet’s ashes.

Guardian Pet Aquamation Options:

Private Aquamation

Private aquamation means your pet’s ashes will be returned to you. Private chambers reside within the unit providing a complete barrier among individual pets. The ashes from private aquamation will be returned to families along with a certificate of service.

Communal Aquamation

A communal aquamation means ashes will not be returned, and instead spread on the Cooney farm in Loveland, Colorado.  Pets will be placed together in the unit and therefore all ash will be combined together. Families are invited to come and walk in the memorial garden, near where the ashes are spread, on Sunday mornings from 9am-noon.

If you have any questions regarding these options, our client relations team is ready to assist you on the phone. Our team is honored with the opportunity to serve you and your pet in this very sad time.

Burial Options

Pet Cemetary Burial

If you are interested in a pet cemetery as a memorial option, here are three options in the Colorado Front Range that we recommend:

Precious Memories Pet Cemetery in Fort Collins - (970) 482-7557

Seven Stones Cemetery - (303) 717-7117

Evergreen Pet Cemetery - (303) 674-7777

Precious Memories Pet Cemetery in Fort Collins - (970) 482-7557

We would advise you to contact the pet cemetery you choose several days in advance of your scheduled appointment for euthanasia so that they can be prepared to help you as you choose.

Home Burial

We suggest that you check with your local city or county regarding their regulations and the legality of home burial. We also encourage you to have the burial site prepared and that the site is at least 4 ½-5 feet deep. Our veterinarian will walk you through this during our visit. Having the burial site prepared beforehand allows you to have more time for memorializing and honoring your pet at the time of euthanasia.

Your veterinarian will provide you a selection of urns and other custom memorial products through either Rainbow Bridge Memorial Center or Guardian Pet Aquamation to ensure that your pet is memorialized as you desire.

A compassionate way to say goodbye.
