A Tribute to Taylor..

My precious best friend, Taylor...you were my pet, my family and my best friend.  For nearly 20 yrs you slept with me, made me laugh, smile and made me feel important. I felt so loved when I came home to you. When I lost my horse, Duke, you felt my sadness and never left my side that night while giving me kisses.

We both fought hard against your renal failure, and it never brought you down. You should have gone on your own terms. Instead, an irresponsible dog owner intentionally let his dog run loose and he took you away from me. That will forever haunt me, cause you should not have gone that way and you should not have gone alone.

I will forever miss your kisses, your warmth at my side at night and your soft touch. With your personality,you made everyone who didn't care for cats fall in love with you. I know I will never have another pet like you.  You were the best ever, and I will forever love and miss you, my Taylor B.
