ABOUT OUR DENVER VETERINARIANS

Caring Pathway's team of Denver veterinarians have over 80 years of experience caring for animals. We have listened closely to the concerns expressed by clients, family and friends, and understand the close, loving bond between owner and their pet. Having also experienced the loss of our own beloved pets, we have chosen to direct our practice focus solely to the in-home, end of life care for your pet.

We have found there is a Caring Pathway for the journey

Larry Magnuson, DVM

Dr. Larry Magnuson is a Colorado native.  He was raised on a farm in eastern Colorado and graduated from Wiggins High School.  Dr. Magnuson graduated from Colorado State University where he earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Soon after graduation he spent three years in post-graduate training at a busy practice in New Jersey.

In 1970, he returned to Denver to work for Tinsman Small Animal Clinic.  He purchased the practice in 1971 and renamed it University Hills Animal Hospital.  In 1983, Dr. Magnuson sold University Hills, and later moved to Fort Collins to start Raintree Animal Hospital.  His practice grew into a thriving multi-doctor practice and he sold his interest in 2008.

Dr. Magnuson has seen the need for in-home end of life pet care.  He has served clients through in-home end of life care  for many years and finds that the needs of the client and pet can often be better served in the comfort of their home.

His personal interests are reading, biking, and spending time with his family and serving our Savior, The Lord Jesus Christ.
